How many licenses do I need?

MetaRadio Standalone is licensed based on the quantity of inputs you wish to use.

Typically, one data feed from one automation system counts as one input.

If you have two stations with two separate feeds from your automation system (e.g. your AM/FM station, and a HD2/Web-only station), you need two licenses.

If you have an automation system plus another input (e.g. satellite syndication provider, API feed, scheduled text messages, etc.), you will need at least two licenses.

Once data has been sent into MetaRadio, you can output it to as many different system as you like – we do not require additional licenses for outputs.

How long does my MetaRadio Standalone license last?

MetaRadio Standalone is a once-off purchase, which grants you a perpetual license. However, we only provide support and updates for the first 12-months from purchase. Support and Updates can be renewed each year for a fee.

How long does my MetaRadio WordPress license last?

The MetaRadio WordPress Plugin is also sold as one-off purchase, which grants you a perpetual license. You buy the plugin now, and you can use it forever. However, we only provide support and updates for the first 12-months from purchase. Support and Updates can be renewed each year for a fee.

How is support provided?

We provide support via email. Details are emailed to you when you purchase the product, or otherwise you can use the contact form on our website.

Do you provide support for the free trial?

Yes. If you have a question before purchasing MetaRadio, please email us.

Do you provide refunds?

No. Due to the way our licensing and distribution works, refunds of our software products are not possible.

Please test MetaRadio with our 30-day free trial license before you purchase a full license. MetaRadio is a complex product with integrations for many different third-party systems. It’s impossible for us to test every version of every automation system and output device, so testing it yourself is a condition of sale.

I lost my license and/or download – can you please provide it again?

Easy. Simply enter your email address on this page and we’ll send you a copy of any active license you have purchased. If your license (e.g. a trial license) has expired, we cannot provide your download or license again.

Do you take feature requests?

We’re always open to ideas – many features and systems in MetaRadio are the direct result of customer feedback. Of course, we can’t guarantee implementation, but we always listen. Please get in touch.

Are there bulk discounts for large rollouts?

If you are deploying MetaRadio to 10 or more stations at one time, please send us an email to discuss pricing.

Do you offer discounts for not-for-profits or community stations?

If you are a registered not-for-profit in your country of origin, please send us an email and we’ll work something out with you.

How do I renew my support and maintenance subscription?

When you purchase MetaRadio, it comes with 12 months support & updates. After this period, you need to renew your support and maintenance subscription to continue receiving support and product updates.

Once your maintenance period has expired, request your license email on the downloads page. If your maintenance has expired, this will automatically email you a link to the renewal page. Once your renewal has been paid, your license is re-issued with the updated expiry date.
